The Golden State is one of the sunniest beats I’ve made so far and a tribute to the state of California, which is one of those places on earth that occupies an almost mythical in our minds. In this song I wanted to incorporate sunshine and nostalgia to an era where the state was prospering like it never had before.

The guitar solo is by Moogisha, a genius guitar player you might catch playing wonderful live sessions on several street spots in Brussels (and who also produces music on his own).

Special thanks to Pieter Eeman from Studio Kompo for mastering the track and to my father and brother for helping me out with the artwork.
